On June 17, 2019 Prof. Krasen Stefanov from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" took part in a meeting with representatives of the University of Alabama, where he presented the national ICT program. Both sides express a desire to work together on the creation and use of three-dimensional printed models in education.

On July 1, 2019, with the assistance of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science, a meeting of representatives of the national program ICT with Chinese delegation will be held. The meeting will discuss various ideas for co-operation. For example, China showed interest in research in the field of AI.

On March 16, 2019 (Saturday) a Spring Scientific Session of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski " was held. The program included а section "ICT in Science, Education and Security", in which current results of the scientific research at the Sofia University partner were presented.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science in collaboration with EU Commissioner Maria Gabriel and supported by Microsoft Bulgaria and will be held on 29 March 2019.
It aims to expand the popular debate on artificial intelligence, including the responsible role of higher education institutions, and in particular the interaction between higher education and artificial intelligence in terms of skills, but also the digitization of higher education as a whole.
